Are you able to add alternative therapies and holistic approaches to our array of already expanded, non-traditional therapeutic techniques? Are you looking for a unique and exciting opportunity to get into a private practice that thinks outside the proverbial box? Are you motivated and self-directed? Are you excited about what you do and ready to work with clients in a deeper way (then let’s say the limits of an agency, clinic or hospital)?
Here are some qualifications that we are looking for:
- Fully licensed therapist in the state of Illinois (LCPC or LCSW or LMFT)
- Therapist must have a passion to work with women’s issues and another kind of ideal client or niche(s) (i.e. teens, couples, family, etc.)
- Therapist must be able to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community (Forward Emotion will provide referrals as well)
- We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about continued learning and has a desire to keep improving themselves as well as their clients
- Advanced training in EMDR, Somatic experiencing, creative art therapies or some other non-traditional modality a huge plus
- Candidate must have great communication skills, an independent and driven nature, ability to work collaboratively with other providers, and have a desire to contribute their skills and expertise to enhance our ability to serve our clients and grow our practice
- Candidate will be considered a contractor of Forward Emotion, LLC
